Finally almost 30 weeks!

More Nursery Stuff!
Last night we went to "Baby Cribs" the store, what a unique name ;) *rolls eyes*
Anyways, we looked through the cribs & I saw one I absolutely LOVED! Gorgeous Java colour, solid wood, an Italian type rose & vine design that was carved out of the wood, oh & $699.99, WAIT WHAT! $700 for a crib!
So I dared not bring up how much I loved it, until Dara walked by & fell in love with it too!
Our deposit goes down this Friday & than it comes in 6-8 weeks.
We`re truly in love with this crib! We also got the matching dresser, which of course was also $700, but God it`s a gorgeous set.
We also picked out paint colours! "Art Deco Pink" & "Pale Orchid"
We really like how they`re more subtle colours since the crib bedding & furniture is so elegant.

Very excited for everything to come all together!

Summer!

Suppose to be 24 degrees today oh boy!
+ Going to be GORGEOUS, getting to eat great summer food, central air, the beau is off work @ 4:00 tonight (VERY excited about that one!)
- Cannot sleep to save my life, the beach here sucks! I`m in my third trimester of pregnancy & since I`m 4`11 I`m huge! :(

I still love this weather regardless though!
- This really has been the most amazing experience of my life! (I`m going to post a 3D4D ultrasound photo too from when I was 26 weeks pregnant!)

Bassinet!

So!
Today we went to pick up our bassinet from a family friend...
Sadly it has a big stain on it & now we have to wash the bedding for it which is verrry hard to do!
Ugh the joys of getting ready for our little Bambino (what my mom calls baby Naomi) lmao!
Nevertheless, it`s gorgeous as always & the very same hand-made one I slept in when I was a baby!
This things got history!

So today in the grocery store...

some old lady gave me a dirty look for no apparent reason so when she didn`t move to let me get to the chocolate milk I "accidentally" (for real) hit her cart.
Needless to say she almost had a heart attack & I suspect she won`t be throwing dirty looks in the grocery store anytime soon.
The funny part is I really didn`t mean to hit her cart haha! Darn aisles are so thin I tell ya!

B is for Baby

JUST SO YOU GUYS KNOW...
my last post is driving me insane due to the photos being cut off!
I forgot I was going to have to shrink them down, BUT if you want to see the full photo just click!

Today is still such a boring day, tomorrow will be better thank God! I have one of my friends, little girl`s first birthday parties to go to! how exciting, hard to believe that my baby isn`t here yet but one day she`ll be turning one too!
I got her 3 dresses, a striped shorts & shirt outfit, a pajama set, pink pants & a polka dot shirt outfit, shoes & a Hello Kitty onsie. I really wanted to get her more, but I was having such a hard time shopping! I couldn`t find anything I loved for her. Although the elephant box with fluffy tissue paper ears is pretty adorable!

I`m still in the middle of editing my blog to look pretty & such, so I`ll most likely post something again later!

Cooking dinner is somewhere in there too, probably pasta tonight for me! Pasta, peppers, onions, mushrooms, tomatoes, in alfredo sauce with some cheese, I think so!

First Blog & Baby Thoughts

Welcome to my first blog!
I got lots on my mind, so I better get to it!
Blogging + watching Run`s House today, so it`s going to be a long one!
First: Baby Nursery

I`ve had lots going on with the Nursery lately, I`ll be 28 weeks pregnant tomorrow! (with my baby girl Naomi) This is exciting & scary because it makes me think, "I better get a move on" because as much as it seems like I have a TON of time, I just don`t. I`m really planning on it being done for the baby shower late August which I`ll be blogging about later on today most likely!

So for the nursery furniture I`m pretty torn! I had originally wanted a set from Babies R Us, but the pieces they had for it were just a bit too big for her room! So I than found the Storkcraft 3-piece Aspen nursery set in Cherry! GORGEOUS! 3-in-1 convertible crib, under storage drawer, the works. Problem: It`s @ WalMart.com NOT ".ca" so this is a problem.

See how this could be a problem? It`s gorgeous! I love everything about it & I thought it would go perfect with her bedding, which I am waiting for in the mail:

We`re going to be going with a fairytale-type nursery theme! Anyway, continuing on to my problem I don`t think I`m going to be able to get the Storkcraft set, so I went searching online some more. I found this DaVinici set as well, I love it too & it has almost all the same features of the Aspen set...

This one CAN be delivered to Canada. Looks like Visa is going to be busy these next few months haha, because they don`t take pay-pal!

So enough on that frustration! Since I only have a month & a half to get it here!
For the flooring I`ve decided to go with Vinyl wood tiles. The ones in there now are ruined!
I really have no preference as to what the actually flooring is made of, I just want it to be easy to install, durable & a nice real looking tile.

That is the colour I was thinking. It will have a large pink rug over top, but you`ll still see lots of it. With the black furniture I think it would be pretty nice. I don`t want to go too dark or the room might just look blah!

SO next matter of business, the paint job. We`re putting molding in the middle, the top will be white & on the bottom will be vertical stripes of large pink & purple stripes & a think white stripe in between each pink or purple stripe.
I`ve been thinking really light colours since the bedding is so luxurious.

For my breast feeding chair I`ve decided to just go with a white simple non-rocking one from Ikea.

I plan on painting the legs a matching pink with the walls & for the seat cushion I was thinking about getting creative! I wanted to maybe find fabric paint that matches the wall colours & than do a nice design like flowers or something. Just to spice it up! I still have to find an ottoman to go with the chair though!

I also found something really cool for the walls above my chair which will be on the same wall as her dresser:

I was thinking of making the flower look more little girl flower-like by not putting the petal outlines inside other petal outlines. Than inside I wanted to paint different designs, like polka dots, stripes, hearts, etc. A different design in each petal.

Second: Packing my hospital bags

I`m going to post a different blog right after this one on what I planned on packing with my bag & Dara`s & the diaper bag as well! I would love to know if I`m missing something so please check it out!

WELL that`s enough for now! I`ll have lots more to blog about later on today, after all the beau is at work until 11:00 tonight & it`s Saturday! What a BORE!
